MRG Tech+Media 360 Strategic Programs
There's too much going on. New markets open, then fall
just as quickly to hungry competitors; traditional market
analysis crumbles under the constant impact of new technology.
. .
For CEOs and directors of broadband and multimedia firms,
MRG Tech+Media helps tame the chaos. We provide a discrete,
tightly integrated team of high-level advisors -- all seasoned
executives with deep technical and marketing expertise.
Our mission: to work as your strategic agents, furthering
the interests of your firm in the pursuit of new market share,
revenue, and better use of your unique assets. Depending on
your needs, we will evaluate technologies appropriate for
your market space, look for appropriate partnerships, help
generate and evaluate company strategy, create plans of execution,
and a range of other services.
-
The 360 Strategic Program
All MRG Tech+Media engagements are based on long-term partnerships,
under the umbrella of our 360&Mac176; Strategic Program.
In the 360 Program, we build an on going, continuous process
to monitor your strategic interests. In effect, we become
your extra "eyes and ears" in the industry, and
in your organization.
Much of this information flow comes via the market analysis
of our parent firm; other information comes from personal
contacts, trade shows, and private research. We may also
direct other research firms to gather intelligence on your
behalf.
More important than the quantity of information, however,
is the fact that the data is assessed and evaluated to find
issues that affect you directly. Again, our team is experienced;
our job is not to dump raw data on your desk, but to provide
only items with immediate strategic importance, which can
be translated into action items.
Furthermore, our partners will work within your organization
to develop a detailed understanding of your strengths, weaknesses,
hidden assets and competencies. This provides the understanding
of your internal organization, which is required to assess
strategic opportunities as they occur.
In those cases when a client identifies an issue deserving
more detailed examination, typically the next step is a
Scoping Study.
-
The Scoping Study
A scoping study is used to fully explore an opportunity.
It defines the problem, identifies a proposed budget and
timeline for resolution, and is often followed by a Follow-On
program where the full solution is provided.
The scoping study, by design, must define the problem such
that any group with sufficient competencies can generate
the solution.
-
The Follow-On Program
Once the problem is fully detailed in the scoping documents,
a follow-on program finishes the work as planned.
